The Lepchas men wear Tego, Tomo (Gyado) Thokro, Tingip Nyiamrik, Ban, Thektu. women Wear Dungdem, Tego Thetuk, Nyiamrik, Ngajo (Sickle).
Ornaments: Chyap-Chyap Shambrang bur, Kukip alyak, Nay-Kong, Akager. The ladies keep their hair in two brands.

THE BHUTIAS

A Bhutia Face

The Bhutia men wear Hentachi Kho Tied by Kera Gyaado jaja, Thuri Shyambo & Shampo (Shoes). Women Wear Hanju, Kho (sleevless) tied by Kera Ceiling Shyambo, Tapsu (Hair band) & Shampo )Shoes). Married women wear Pangden below waist in the front.
Ornament: Khow, Kesung, Nyandap, Diu. The ladies keep their hair in two braids.

THE NEPALESE

A Nepali Face

Nepalese male wear Daura, Suruwai, Topi Patuka wasist coat and a Khukri and Nepalese women wear Chowbandi Choli, Gunew tied by patuka, Hembari (Shawl tied round the chest) Majetro.
Ornaments: Chyapte Sun, Gadavari (ear rings) Tilhari Kantha (Hanging from the neck) Chura, Dungri, Mundri (nose ring), Kallis (ankle ornaments), Sirbandi Charrani Har and Tikmala are Female Ornaments. The Sindur (Vermillion) & the potey (bottle green) are the signs of married women.
