PRIVATE :

The Sikkim Manipal University established under The Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences, Act 1995 (Act No 9 of 1995) received the assent of Governor on 11th October 1995. The Act has been published in the Official Gazette No. 184 on 15th November 1995 and the date of enforcement has been notified as 1st April 1996 in the Official Gazette No. 64 dated 17th June 1996.

The ICFAI University, Sikkim established under The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Sikkim Act , 2004 (Act No 9 of 2004) received the assent of Governor on 4th October 2004. The Act has been published in the Official Gazette No. 396 on 18th October 2004 and the date of enforcement has been notified as 1st December 2004 in the Official Gazette No. 502 dated 1st December 2004.

The EIILM University, Sikkim established under The Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management University, Sikkim Act, 2006 (Act No 4 of 2006) received the assent of Governor on 24th March 2006. The Act has been published in the Official Gazette No. 106 on 17th April 2006 and the date of enforcement has been notified as 26th May 2006 in the Official Gazette No. 152 dated 2nd June 2006.

The Vinayaka Missions Sikkim University established under the Vinayaka Missions Sikkim University Act, 2008 (Act No. 11 of 2008) received the assent of Governor on 28th June 2008. The Act has been published in the Official Gazette No. 321 on 30th July 2008 and the date of enforcement has been notified as 28th August 2008 in the Official Gazette No. 398 dated 28th August 2008.
